This route heads from the centre of Tiefenbach towards the remote side valley, with plenty of spectacular views along the way. From the valley entrance, the near-natural Rautweg trail about half way runs deeper into the side valley via the toll road.
At the end of the Rautweg trail, the valley opens up, as do its views. Most of Rohrmoos is privately owned by nobility. In the small hamlet, you’ll not only find the stately hunting lodge and several smaller administrative buildings, but also a mountain restaurant and a delightful chapel. Built entirely from wood in 1568, St. Anna’s chapel is thought to be one of the oldest and best preserved wooden chapels in the whole of the Alps.
